Clearing Post-Storm Debris Near the Port
The heavy rains hit Steinberger hard last season, leaving a mess of silt and organic debris near the Port of Redwood City. I remember the smell of damp earth and rotting wood as we inspected the site. The buildup threatened to clog local drainage, and if we didn't move that weight quickly, the low flood zone risk would turn into a real headache for the nearby residential streets.
We dropped a heavy-duty roll-off right where the crew needed it to minimize walking distance. Our guys spent the afternoon loading soaked branches and heavy silt into the bin. We hauled the load out before the next weather front rolled in. The site stayed clear, and the drainage paths remained open for the neighborhood.
The crew cleared our yard fast so the next storm wouldn't flood us.
